Reading Creatively for Social Change

Problem-solving, critical thinking, and communications are skills that define strong and capable leaders. Students will immerse themselves in the study of philosophy and psychology to discover how human nature impacts the ability for world leaders to tackle global problems.

Research and Statistics in Sciences (Psychology Focus)

Across all science fields, including psychology, research and effective use of statistics is what helps us to make sense of the world. In this immersive and interactive course, learn more about utilising research and stats through a psychology lens.

Criminal Law and Procedure in Queensland

A career in law can be intellectually challenging, personally fulfilling and financially rewarding. Gain practical insight into the exciting world of criminal law, including going to court, criminal offences, criminal defenses, and the powers relied upon by police.

Cybercrime and Cybersecurity

Delve into the minds of a cybercriminal by learning the fundamentals of cybercrime including what motivates those who commit cyber-attacks. In this course, students will gain a foundational understanding of the regulations and frameworks designed to protect individuals and organisations from cybercrime and the evolution of criminal activities.

Climate Change and Law

Be immersed in the study of climate change and law through three online modules and a one-day practical workshop. Climate change is expected to impact almost all aspects of human life. To address and ultimately reverse the wide-reaching effects of climate change, we need a new generation of energised, empowered, and legally educated advocates.

Creative Writing

Students can harness their creative flair and passion for writing by d eveloping their writing skills by exploring a range of approaches, styles and genres to help them find and tell compelling stories. Students will receive guidance from experienced freelance journalist, author, lecturer and content creator to learn how to draft a story from an idea through to completion.
